Well, with all this snow it certainly feels like I am on a ski getaway and I am only sitting in my parents house on Long Island. However, if you are off to a real ski destination this holiday - maybe in New England or out West, then its time to get together a chic ski bunny look thats suitable for dinner at the lodge and drinks at the local bar!
Be warm, cozy and ultra feminine in a palette of soft grays and beige. A thin knit dress, sweater tights and a fur vest are the cornerstone of this look. Accessorize with a sweater or fur bag, pretty delicate gold accessories and over the knee flat boots that will help you easily navigate through the snow (even with a glass of champagne or two in you!)

Daily Bling - Tuesday, November 2
In recent seasons, I must admit that I have discredited Free People. Although I was once a fan, I was feeling the line seemed too young or too grandma-y. Just not for me, for some reason.
I can definitely say I am changing my tune this season. Free People's winter catalog arrived in my mailbox yesterday I was lusting over so many pieces! Beautiful silk and lace dresses, pretty cozy knits and the jewelry! Who knew Free People had so many gorgeous, affordable accessories? Our favorite is this Indian Collar Necklace in the multi-gemstone variation. Its only $48 but it looks like much more and has a vintage vibe that's very unique. We love the combo of blue, lime and indigo gemstones - its bright and fun! This would add a bold complement to a black dress or look gorgeous on an all winter white look.
You can find this gorgeous piece and more at www.FreePeople.com.

Shoe Lust! Miu Miu Caged Platform Pumps

One of my favorite beauty editors was lusting over these Miu Miu shoes for Spring and I totally caught her obsession. The Miu Miu Caged Platform Pumps are available at SaksFifthAvenue.com and I am just thinking that I may have to pool all my gift cards and buy them for my upcoming trip to LA!
I'm going to LA for work in two weeks and am already trying to figure out what to pack. I am thinking these Miu Miu pumps may just pull all my outfits together. I HATE overpacking and having one pair of shoes to take me from a shoot to meetings to business dinners and drinks may be the trick to simplifying my life! The good news is I have the perfect new bone/blushy bag I got at a Marc Jacobs sample sale this fall that will go with these FABULOUSLY so I won't have to change bags.
I've put together three inspiration looks that should get my through my 2 1/2 days in La-La Land.

Look 1: Blazer and Rock-n-Roll Ripped Jeans
- Free People Linen Long Seem Detailed Blazer, Bloomingdales.com
- Joe's Jeans Chelsea Girl Skinny Jeans, ShopBop.com
Look 2: California Laid Back Mini Dress
- Rory Becca Trapeze Dress, Shopbop.com
Look 3: Girly Chic Evening Look
- Theory Stay Rosy Ruffle Tank Top
- Hani Y Ruched Taffetta Skirt
What do you think - should I take the plunge and invest in my "perfect" pumps?? I'll keep you posted on if I do!
Fashionably Yours,
H

We Heart Anya Hindmarch
Every day on our way to work we pass this adorable little Anya Hindmarch store and admire her new Spring Collection. Our favorite bag from the collection is her "Gracie" bag featured in the Tan colored leather, above. Its a shoulder bag, smaller than I usually wear but there is just something so luxe about this bag that I find myself developing a little obsession.First of all I love the London sensibility of Anya Hindmarch - her designs truly capture the London I fell in love with when I lived their for a semester in college. Equal parts classic and trendy with a bag from Anya you always feel instyle but you don't feel like you are sporting something you will only get one season wear out of.
Here are the dets on the Gracie Bag:
- Pleated leather shoulder bag with twist clasp fastening to the front, and leather and chain mix handle.
- Calf skin leather in a tan/camel color
- Dimensions: 28x21x9 cm
- Price: About $650
We'd love to see this bag paired with an all white look for early spring. White jeans and a flowy top or a cute, flirty mini dress would both make this bag pop!

Fashionably Yours,
H
