Maybe its that purple is my favorite color or maybe it was the Caribbean chic vibe of the Real Housewives of NY last night or maybe its even my new found obsession with crystals (but not in a creepy Spencer Pratt sorta way) but I am absolutely in LOVE with these gorgeous, luxurious, amethyst and agate earrings from Devon Leigh.

I've talked about designer Devon Leigh's genius work with gemstones and druzzy stones before, so I wont harp on it again but all I can say is that if you love natural looking stone work and hippie-chic southwestern inspired jewelry you MUST check out this line. We would absolutely love to wear these earrings all summer long - at the beach, for summer weddings, out at night with friends and even to the office.

Talk about a statement necklace! We fell in love with today's daily bling upon scoping out this week's Gilt Groupe accessory sales. We were excited to see Devon Leigh on Gilt because we love her use of gemstones and "druzy" stones or the look of an unfinished, in the rough stone with tiny crystals on it that we are seeing make a come back in jewelry.

The Geode Agate Druzy Stone Necklace is on sale at Gilt Groupe now for $325, about half of its original price. The Druzy Agate is featured on a 16 inch gold chain and even the chain itself is beautiful. The stone measures 2 inches and we think this piece would make the ultimate conversation starter where ever you go. We also think this piece would make a good investment because its virtually "seasonless" and easily transitions your wardrobe from winter to summer.
