Kim Kardashian's New Jewelry Collection Available NOW!

Belle Noel, Kim Kardashian's new jewelry line, is now available for pre-sale online at Singer-22! I think about Belle Noel, Kim's middle-of-the-road priced costume jewelry line (more expensive than her Bebe collection, but much cheaper than her Loren Jewels collection) as Kim's answer to the highly successful Nicole Richie's House of Harlow line. Our prediction for the line? Plenty of in-stores at Kitson and probably footwear and bags to follow.

We have to say, the Kardashians do know style, and the new Belle Noel Collection doesn't disappoint! My favorite piece in the new collection is the Honey Hexagon and Black Leather necklace ($95), which can be viewed below on Kim herself. Its sort of a harder, cooler, younger version of a John Hardy or Yurman design.

Double Lust...The Hippie Edition

It's been quite a while that a shoe or a bag has come across our radar and was so lust-at-first-sight worthy that we felt the need to do a Shoe Lust or Bag Lust post. Shocking, no? Maybe its because we are in that "in-between" part of the year where we are getting a little sick of the Spring/Summer collections but not yet in the mood to think about Fall. Whatever the reason we are glad to say the "draught" has ended and we officially have both a BAG and SHOE lust this week.

Both styles we are loving have that California-cool, laid back mentality and tap into our inner hippie chic style. We especially love to embrace this style in the summer time and what better to be a mid-summer style pick me up then these two, we ask?

We love these Venus Fringe "moccasin" inspired sandals by Koolaburra in the chestnut shade featured above and think they'd look super cute with a pair of short denim shorts and tank ala Kristen Cavallari (who was seen wearing them just this way). They are laid back, fun and are the perfect summer sandal to take you into the Fall season. At $130 they are also not out of the budget range for a cute pair of memorable, scene-stealing shoes.

Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Embroidered Folli Bag in Black
We love just about everything Cynthia Vincent has been doing lately and this Ikat inspired cross-body is no exception to that rule. We love mixing colbalt blue and black and think this bag has just the right amount of color and sass to make it a stand-out in the crowd yet wearable quality. We'd wear it with basically everything and just like the sandals think its the perfect Summer-to-Fall transition piece. Finally, and it has to be said, we just can't get enough of the cross-body style and if we buy any new bag soon a cross-body style will be it. At just under $200 we think it won't be a purchase you'll regret.

Both of these styles are available at the ultra chic boutique Singer-22.

Weekend Bling - 5/15 - 5/16

We are seeing these horizontal charms everywhere and at first we weren't sure how we felt. Of course this new jewelry trend is cute but is it needed? I mean, do we really need another charm necklace in our lives? Well, the answer is most probably no, but unfort. charms are sort of like potato chips. You can't just have one.

We first saw these horizontal crosses when we were in LA in March and now we see them popping up everywhere - not just in necklaces but in rings, bracelets and even earrings. We have to admit there is something really cool and unique about the style and what we love even more about today's bling - Jennifer Zeuner Mini Horizontal Cross Necklace - is the simplicity of the style. You can easily layer this piece with other charm necklaces (our fav. look) and pair with all your favorite statement earrings and cuffs of the season.

We are partial to the necklace in silver as shown, but it also comes in gold. It's 16 inches in length and available at Singer-22 online for $110.

The Daily Bling - Friday, March 19th

I'm in an LA state of mind. And that being said, I bring you a daily bling from one of my fav. LA based lines designed by one of my fav. LA based celebs - Nicole Richie's House of Harlow 1960 line.

We have been hearing that "sideways" rings are very hot for Spring. (Note: We are defining sideways rings as those rings that have large charms that go left to right rather then straight up and down.) We have seen a few that actually have two ring holes - they are meant to wear on two fingers but are connected by a large sideaways gemstone or charm. The problem with these two finger rings is comfort - they just look TOO uncomfortable for us. We don't need to have our fingers connected and our hands tied down. Even for the name of fashion. If you want to get the "sideways" look of the two finger ring without the hassle, then you should def. check out the House of Harlow 1960 Key Cocktail Ring in Gold. It has a real antique feel which we love - it seems like a vintage Chanel piece! The oversized key is cool and very right now. It would be a great complement to a chiffon tunic and leggings look or boho chic maxi dress.

The House of Harlow 1960 Cocktail Ring is $55 and available here at Singer-22.

When In Rome... Do The Gladiator!

As I begin to check out all the Spring Accessories collections there is one trend that I am glad to see is still MAJORLY in style - gladiator sandals! I love gladiator sandals because they are super easy to wear and dress up summer sun dresses just as nice as many of their heeled counterparts do. I also think my inner hippie cannot resist the boho glam look of the gladiator sandal.

This year studded gladiators in black and our favorite hues of the season, blush and flesh-tones, are really hot. One of my absolute fav. affordable shoe lines Dolce Vita has a black studded gladiator that I am just so in love with that I know I am going to have to purchase. They are available on ShopBop (just click the link under the image above) but if you rather not purchase online Dolce Vita carries many of their styles at Macys. Some of my other fav studded gladiators for the season include:

To check out any of these studded gladiators just click on the links below the pics. And tell us - which is your fav? Should we invest in a black pair or a flesh-tone pair?
