The Daily Bling - Tuesday, May 4

Maybe it's because its wedding season or maybe its the fact that the Met Gala was last night but we are in formal wear mode! Our favorite look to dress up a black-tie look? Statement earrings! They do the trick everytime, no matter the style of the dress, and look gorg. whether you are wearing your hair up or down.

We've mentioned our love for Grayce by Molly Sims before and after checking out her latest collection we think its safe to say she has the best vintage inspired statement earring for the Spring season! We especially love today's daily bling, the Colored Crystal Drop Earrings in Light Pink. We are eying them as a compliment to our charcoal colored bridesmaid gown for an upcoming wedding but think they'd compliment just about any formal look. Antique Gold plated, this vintage inspired style comes in a beautiful rainbow of colored crystal options (including amythest which we also love) but the pink color is so feminine and luxurious that it has our pick!

You can purchase these on the newly launched Grayce by Molly Sims website for $95.

The Daily Bling - Thursday, April 22

I'm back from St. Lucia and in a much more laid-back, summer state of mind! This new found vibe transitions me to today's exquisite, oceanic daily bling which I lusted over during some "online window shopping" at Gilt Groupe's Kevia sale yesterday.

Kevia is known for their gorgeous gold "lace" detailing, beautiful use of gemstones, and African inspiration and we are just in love with this line! Kevia Jewelry's sale on Gilt Groupe is still live and we highly recommend you check it out. We just love the delicate gold and gemstone artistry of the pieces. The Blue Topez Ring just got sold out unfort. but if you love it you must check out their other blue topez and gold jewelry! All the pieces (including a gorgeous matching necklace and earrings btw) reminds me of the crystal clear blue of a cloudless summer sky or the beautiful waves of the Caribbean sea. Both myself and my coworker couldn't resist picking up one of their beautiful cocktail rings and if you check out their sale I think you will see why!

If you just must have this ring also check out Kevia's website for more info on the line and where to buy.

On a side note a very special shoot out to my mom (and devout BBB reader) for her birthday today! Love you mom!

Daily Bling - Thursday, April 15

Lucite jewelry is a huge trend for Spring so we are actually shocked we haven't posted something about Alexis Bittar yet considering no one does Lucite quite like her. Beautiful colored lucite cuffs, rings, earrings and necklaces have been a staple in her line since its inception and we have always have admired her pieces for that very reason.

Today's Daily Bling is no exception and if you ask us its truly more than a beautiful jewel but a true piece of art! It may be hard to tell from the image but this lucite and swarovski crystaled beauty is a cocktail ring from out of this world.

The Large Montauk Coral Oval Ring was inspired by a variety of cultures fused as one - part 1960s Boca Roton ladies who lunch, part laid-back Montauk beach sensibility, part Modern Navajo Art and Ikhat designs - its truly a unique yet wearable piece that I am sure the wearer would get tons of compliments on! We really love the way the coral, crystal and gold pieces compliment the lavendar-pink lucite stone. It's so modern yet really feminine and flirty and we just absolutely love, love, love it. In fact, we think we need to put this on the potential b-day list this year.

You can check out all the details on this ring and the other lovely lucite pieces in Alexis Bittar's collection on her website.

In other news, we have some changes coming to this site soon which we are excited to share with you (all good things, people so don't you worry!). We also will be taking a vacation to St. Lucia beginning tomorrow through Wednesday of next week and this vacation will also mean a break from blogging. So while we are on hiatus don't forget about us please AND know that we will be back next week with some super fun news!

Daily Bling - Monday, April 12

We fell in love with the Rachel Leigh Olivia Ring the moment we laid eyes on it (see, love at first site DOES exist). So feminine, so flirty, so sweet it would be the type of ring we could wear every day and not get sick of.

We have been a huge fan of Rachel Leigh's cuffs for some time now but we never have tried one of her rings. The "bow" is a signature look Rachel shows in many of her designs, including her cuffs, but we love how the bow translates to the ring perhaps even more. The rope detailing gives it a vintage vibe that ensures its not overally girly. The design does scream Rachel Leigh to us but its style a super unique look that we see it becoming your signature piece. Haven't you always wanted to be the girl with the bow ring?

The Olivia Ring is only $58 and available at Rachel Leigh Online.

Weekend Bling - 4/10 - 4/11

I'm counting down the days to my vacation (six, yay!) to St. Lucia and just can't wait! I could use some sun, a good tan and a (couple of) Pina Coladas. The Kenneth Jay Lane earrings above naturally caught my eye for their island flavor!

We really, really love these earrings and not just because we are going on vacation, but because they would add an instant just-came-back-from-the-Caribbean vibe to your Spring look regardless if this was the case or not. The Kenneth Jay Lane Multi Stone Earrings feature assorted Swarovski crystals, two-tone resin beads, and metal beads at the scalloped panels. At almost 5 inches long they are the quintessential statement earrings. Clip these on with a bright colored maxi dress and a pair of gold gladiator sandals and you are set for the summer!

You can find these at ShopBop online for $242.

Yesterday we wore our Grayce By Molly Sims Crystal Point Rose Gold Cuff and got so many compliments! It got us thinking we need to head over to HSN to see what Molly is showing in her Spring collection!

There are plenty of great options but the piece that caught our eye is the Vintage Look Medallion Necklace above. It reminds us of the necklace that Joan from Mad Men wears in every episode and that's def. one of the reason's why we love it! We love the tassle and crytal drop detail - it definitly gives it that vintage vibe and makes it different from most of the longer necklaces we are seeing on the market now. It reminds us a little like something J. Crew would do but to our knowledge they haven't. Molly beat you to the punch J. Crew!

The necklace retails for $69 but HSN of course has easy pay so you can split the cost over two months! Gotta love that, right?

Check out this piece and all of Grayce by Molly Sims Collection on HSN.

The Daily Bling - Thursday, April 8

We have found our new pair of go-to every day earrings! Where did we find them you may ask? Our new (old) favorite store - Anthropologie of course!

These were also a find at the Rochester Mall this weekend (haven't I mentioned before how much I love suburban malls?) while shopping with my mom. We both fell in love with these earrings just not quite sure why we didn't scoop them up! Well, at only $32 you know I'll be heading down to the Anthro in Flat Iron to grab them soon! They are so easy to wear and would look really, really pretty with a lot of our Spring neutral looks. In person they are very high in quality and look expensive. In fact, they remind me of a pair of Ippolita earrings that I have always lusted over!

We love the neutral version above, but they also come in blue and grey versions which are both equally gorg. To check them all out head over to Anthropologie's website.

The Daily Bling - Wednesday, April 7

Guys we have major bling lust! We came across today's daily bling on Net-a-Porter and although its definitly an "inspiration" piece for us we just had to feature it on the bloggie!

The Kenneth Jay Lane Crystal Embellished Cuff is encrusted with clear and black crystals in a super chic animal print pattern. It would make a really awesome statement jewel to complement an all black look. We are envisioning it with a pair of ripped black skinnies, a silk tank and cropped leather jacket. A little bling-tastic, a little edgy, it's just enough girly and fun to lighten up a simple look!

And because we just L-O-V-E the way it looks on, we had to include another image, here.
It's a total splurge at $625 but if you want to check it out or pick it up head over to Net-a-Porter.

Today's Daily Bling is a cheapie but a goodie. At only $3.80 the Forever 21 Threaded Tierdrop Earrings would make a fashionable and affordable edition to your Spring wardrobe. These statement earrings would make a good accessory edition to the "global" trend look (we are dreaming about them with an global printed dress and wedges for our upcoming trip to St. Lucia) or look really hot with your go to summer LBD. And at $3.80? Well, there really ain't much to say. Your cup of coffee costs more!

These little babies are on final sale so make sure to scoop them up soon for all your spring/summer wardrobe needs at Forever21.

Weekend Bling - 4/3 - 4/4

Happy Easter All! We were visting our brother upstate at college and unforuntatly didn't have the time to blog (gasp) but did have a lovely time with our family! We even had a little time to shop at the Rochester mall and bring back a beautiful bling for you all!

In lieu of an Easter basket my mom bought me a few goodies (okay including a chocolate bunny) including some super fab banana republic "rocker chic" chained earrings and the gorg Laurete Headband featured above! The Laureate Headband is from Anthropologie and is just another reminder why we need to shop their more often!! They have a truly adorable collection this spring and we really had to hold ourselves back from wanting to buy everything from the hippie chic sundresses to beaded belts and crystal drop earrings.

The Laureate headband is a true gem blinged out with gorg beaded and crystal detailing and super comfortable to wear. It was what we wore in place of the typical "Easter bonnet" today and looked pretty chic if we do say so ourselves...

Hope those who celebrated the holiday today had a lovely one!

The Daily Bling - Friday, April 2nd

How sweet are these studs? We are sorta a sucker for butterflies and just love these little pink and yellow pretties by Juicy Couture!

We found them while browsing on Revolve Clothing last night and we think they would make just the cutest littlest edition to our Spring wardrobe! We love an unexpected stud (think diamond clusters, or actual "stud" looking studs). They are easy to wear and make a good go to piece to pair with the big statement and bib necklaces we are oh so loving right now. These cute little butterflies would look really vintage with the J. Crew Fenton/Fallon necklace we featured yesterday or with a layer of gold charmed necklaces (my go to jewelry look!) We'd also like to see them shown off with a slicked back straight pony tail and blush-colored sundress as the weather warms up.

The Juicy Couture Butterfly Studs are only $49 and believe me these will just put a smile on your face!

The Daily Bling - Thursday, April 1

Hey Fashionable Readers! Sorry for the delayed post today, I am home sick and have been feeling pretty lousy since last night so it's talking all my energy to write this post. I knew what I wanted to write about but somehow to get my thoughts on paper (or computer screen - thats sort of an old term isn't it?) is taking some effort. For this reason I will keep the post short and sweet, really sweet.

Fenton/Fallon by NYC jewelry designer Dana Lorenz has created an exclusive line for J. Crew this year and it sure is lovely! Fenton/Fallon brings their signature downtown edge to J. Crew's preppy yet pretty line of antique inspired jewels - a match made in daily bling heaven! The most impressive piece in the bunch is most definitely the Carrington Crystal Bow Necklace, featured above. Everything about it screams our style! We love the juxtaposition of the ever so fem oversized Swarovski crystals and satin bow detailing on the edgy mixed metal chains. It's uptown girl meets downtown girl in the ultimate statement necklace. That's all were going to say on this one because frankly this piece speaks for itself!

The necklace is available on J.Crew Online and is $295.

Padma Lakshmi - best known as Top Chef Host and Indian Beauty - debuted her new Spring 2010 jewelry collection this week at Bergdorf Goodman. Padma's line called "Padma" is inspired by her indian culture and western upbringing. The jewelry is delicate and gold in most cases and features beautiful gemstones in vibrant shades such as red, pink, green, and yellow.

Our favorite piece from her Spring Collection, and our daily bling today, is The Midnight Multi Gem Fringe Strand earrings.

We love how delicate and feminine the gemstones are on these stunners but how the earrings also really make a statement. We love the color combination of various cool tone pink, purple and blue gemstones. We love that the fringe goes 3 inches long - that's right 3 inches or gorgeousness in gemstones hanging from your ears. These are the perfect style to wear with long flowy hair look because they will still stand out OR with your hair pulled back in a pony if you really looking to make an impact.

These are definitly an "inspiration" piece for us because at $1,135 they just dont fit into our budget. Will be looking for a costume version soon to wear all summer long!

We love Banana Republic's jewelry collection for its vintage appeal. I am constantly getting compliments on my BR statement necklaces and woven clasp bracelets from their Fall and Winter seasons. No one EVER thinks I got them at banana. Their new Spring Collection pieces are no different in their substantial quality and unique design.

Our favorite new piece is the Rain Shadow Bracelet. Its so sweet with its ribbon and lucite detailing but also a little edgy with its mixed metal and beaded woven strands. Its the perfect bracelet to wear with a neutral palette of beiges, blushes, and grays.

Banana Republic's Rain Shadow Bracelet is a no-brainer wardrobe-enhancer at only $39.

The Daily Bling - Sunday, March 28th

We finally got around to looking at the Saks Spring mailer this weekend (we were avoiding it as we were afraid we would want EVERYTHING in it and unfortunately this is pretty much the case). Of all the beautiful pieces we saw in the catalog the statement necklaces by Fiona Paxton stood out to us the most. They showed her heavy, embellished statement bib necklaces with all the looks in the catalog - the edgy, the feminine, the sleek, and the global.

We choose to feature the Fiona Paxton Draped Bib Necklace in Silver because we feel its the most wearable of the styles (although we are in love with the antique gold/coral version too). We love the lucite gems ands silver beaded detailing - its updated yet still has that "global chic" quality to it. It would work well with the edgier rock-star styles we are seeing or with a simple bandage dress for a more formal event.

Fiona Paxton's jewelry ain't cheap but we think everyone would be talking about your killer style if you invest in a piece like this. If you are looking for your "must have" piece of jewelry of the season, we don't think you'd regret grabbing this one. You can purchase today's bling for $400 at Saks Fifth Avenue online.

The Daily Bling - Saturday, March 27th

Nothing says statement ring like today's daily bling. The Ted Rossi Python and Chunky Jeweled ring is described as "adorned with large prong-set clear and amber crystals in different shapes atop a square ring with Python detailing. " Can we say hot?

This ring has a little bit of everything - a little bit of an edge, a little girly charm and a little sophistication. We love this look for a night out on the town with your friends with jeans and flowy jersey top.

We also love that the ring has adjustable sizing so you don't have to worry about picking a specific ring size or wanting to wear it on multiple fingers. (we could see this being worn on the ring, middle or pointer). It also makes getting this ring as a gift super easy!

You can scoop this Ted Rossi stunner at National Jean Company Online for $165.

Guys, we have a new obsession. Well something you should know about us first off is we have a SEVERE watch obsession. Our new fav. to add to the list?? The La Mer Collections Square Layer Gold Pyramid Stud Watch available for pick-up at Singer-22.

Never heard of La Mer Watches? We hadn't either. La Mer Collections’ focus is on classic watch faces designed exclusively by Martine Ilana, paired with beautiful leather straps. Their watches are globally inspired and retail from about $80 - 200. This little beauty which we are SERIOUSLY considering ordering, like now, is at the very reasonable price of $110. We will justify the purchase by telling ourselves we are not only getting a black watch (which we have been wanting) but we are also getting a really cool black studded leather wrap bracelet (which we also been wanting). You can't beat a two for one!!

I'm still really into this rocker chic look (and I do apologize if you are bored of it). I couldnt resist featuring this totally rad cuff I found on Intermix Boutique's website last night. The leather chain cuff by Cecilia de Boucraft is 2 1/2 inches wide and features rows and rows of silver chains and "zipper" like detailing. Its got a two snap closure so its good for small or larger wrists.

We like the idea of pairing this "harder" looking piece with a feminine LBD and heels or ripped denim pants and a fluttery, flirty silk top. The juxtaposition of this rockin' bangle with a more girly outfit would look super chic.

And on a personal side note "bling" I wanted to dedicate today's post to one of my good friends and daily follower of this blog, Meri, for getting some of her own special bling this week! Congrats!

The Daily Bling - Wednesday, March 24

Guys, first off just have to apologize for my first bloggie boo boo - I didnt daily bling yesterday! I have been swamped at my day job and a bit jetlagged from my trip to LA and I just, well, didn't feel like it. No real excuses. It WONT happen again! (well i'm not making any promises...)

That said I'm excited to bring you Wednesday's Daily Bling - the Giles & Brother Enamel Snake Bracelet. I have been really obsessed with bangles lately, especially layering thick bangles with dressier outfits (like at work, or with a cocktail dress). We saw a huge bangle trend on the Oscars red carpets and the great news is there are a ton of fun ones to pick for Spring. I love this Giles & Brother's cuff because its alittle bit art deco and alittle bit Egyptian all rolled into one. The primary colors are a great addition to the otherwise common style of the scale detailed cuff and we also adore the pave crystal details. The cuff is gold-plated and features a box clasp closure - so it won't come off!

You can find this little hottie on ShopBop for $195.

Fashionably Yours.

The Daily Bling - Monday, March 22nd

So ladies (and gents if you are reading too), as you know we just got back from a trip to LA and let me tell you Los Angeles is a great city to go jewelry shopping. So many unique designs, so many places to shop for really edgy and fun looks. We fell in love with a gold studded ring that we saw at one of the boutiques on famed Robertson Blvd and can't get it out of our minds! After much scouring on the internet we can't find the exact piece but we did find this similar and FAB Stephan Webster Studded Gold Dome Ring and are really digging this look.

I'm really feeling the harder, rock star style right now (maybe I'm somehow being inspired by The Runaways movie?) and I love the idea of a studded ring as opposed to a gemstone one right about now. What I love about today's daily bling is its truly edgy without being scary or tough. It would make an awesome cocktail ring look or a piece you could wear everyday. Just a slight bit of "rock star" to add a little attitude to your look.

The Stephen Webster ring is $385 and can be ordered at Saks Fifth Avenue online.
