It's been quite a while that a shoe or a bag has come across our radar and was so lust-at-first-sight worthy that we felt the need to do a Shoe Lust or Bag Lust post. Shocking, no? Maybe its because we are in that "in-between" part of the year where we are getting a little sick of the Spring/Summer collections but not yet in the mood to think about Fall. Whatever the reason we are glad to say the "draught" has ended and we officially have both a BAG and SHOE lust this week.
Both styles we are loving have that California-cool, laid back mentality and tap into our inner hippie chic style. We especially love to embrace this style in the summer time and what better to be a mid-summer style pick me up then these two, we ask?

Venus Fringe "moccasin" inspired sandals by Koolaburra in the chestnut shade featured above and think they'd look super cute with a pair of short denim shorts and tank ala Kristen Cavallari (who was seen wearing them just this way). They are laid back, fun and are the perfect summer sandal to take you into the Fall season. At $130 they are also not out of the budget range for a cute pair of memorable, scene-stealing shoes.
We love just about everything
Cynthia Vincent has been doing lately and this Ikat inspired cross-body is no exception to that rule. We love mixing colbalt blue and black and think this bag has just the right amount of color and sass to make it a stand-out in the crowd yet wearable quality. We'd wear it with basically everything and just like the sandals think its the perfect Summer-to-Fall transition piece. Finally, and it has to be said, we just can't get enough of the cross-body style and if we buy any new bag soon a cross-body style will be it. At just under $200 we think it won't be a purchase you'll regret.
